Parents’ Pantry
We are seeking a volunteer in our Parents’ Pantry to help stock pantry items and assist young parents in redeeming their baby bucks. An agency orientation and volunteer application will be required.
Days and Times Needed:
- Mondays in June, July, and August: Noon – 1 pm
- Wednesdays in June: 2 pm – 4 pm, 4 pm – 5:30 pm
- Wednesdays in July and August: Noon – 2 pm, 2pm – 4 pm, and 4 pm – 5:30 pm
New this year: “Adopt a Site”
The perfect opportunity for a group of friends,co-workers, corporate giving project, church members, or students. Request one of our group locations throughout DuPageCounty to volunteer with!
Time Frame: One month
Weekday: Monday-Wednesday (depending on location)
Time: Roughly 6:00-8:30 pm
Number of Volunteers: 3-5 people (recommended)
Requirements: One meeting with the Group Services Coordinator and a completed short-term volunteer application (per person).

Children Program Specialist, Coordinator
Do you love working with children ages three months to five years? We are in need of childcare coordinators over the age of 21. The chief duties are to keep the childcare room at Group running smoothly and assure the safety of all children. Two to three hours per week at one site in DuPage County for one evening weekly.
An understanding of child development and how to care for infants and toddlers is a plus.
Children Program Specialist
This position is voluntary and the providers are responsible for playing games with children, holding infants, reading to the children, etc. No diaper changes are required. Minimum age for working with our children is 18. Some childcare experience preferred. Two to three hours per night at one site in DuPage County for one evening weekly.
A stipend will be paid for this position. An understanding of child development and how to care for infants and toddlers is a plus.

Festival of Friends Event Committee
Our fall fundraising event is being held at Medinah Country Club. We need your time and talents to help with event planning, raffle and sponsorship coordination, public relations, and event promotion. Have fun with a vibrant group, meet new community leaders and members, and help support Teen Parent Connection.
