Group Services Childcare & Meal Provider Volunteers
Childcare volunteers needed for Carol Stream on Monday evenings, Addison and West Chicago on Thursday evenings. This position is voluntary and the providers are responsible for playing games with children, holding infants, reading to the children, etc. No diaper changes are required. Minimum age for working with our children is 14. Some childcare experience preferred. Two to three hours per night at one site in DuPage County for one evening weekly. A stipend will be paid for this position.
Meal providers are needed for our Carol Stream Young Parent Group. This group meets every Monday evening at 6:30p.m. This position is voluntary and the providers are responsible for making a nutritious meal to be served at one of our group locations. A meal may include a casserole, salad, desert and beverages for approximately 15 young parents and their children. The meal can be dropped off directly to our group location on the evening agreed upon, unless specific accommodations have been made.

Parents’ Pantry Volunteer
We are seeking a volunteer in our Parents’ Pantry to help stock pantry items and assist young parents in redeeming their baby bucks. If interested, please contact Sarah Pluth at sarahp@teenparentconnection.org or 630.790.8433 x296. An agency orientation and volunteer application will be required.
Festival of Friends Event Committee
Our fall fundraising event is being held at Medinah Country Club on Sunday, November 11th, 2012. We need your time and talents to help with event planning, raffle basket and sponsorship coordination, public relations, and event promotion. Have fun with a vibrant group, meet new community leaders and members, and help support Teen Parent Connection.
