Teen Parent Connection

Other Ways to Give

In-Kind Gifts

GIFTS OF GOODS OR SERVICES

In lieu of a monetary donation, you can donate in-kind gifts – those of goods or services – to Teen Parent Connection.

For example, our Parents’ Pantry remains stocked solely through the generosity of individuals and community groups. Our silent auction items and raffle baskets that help us raise money during our fundraisers are thanks to the donations of local businesses, restaurants, entertainment venues, and individuals. Hot meals provided by individuals to our group services are also considered in-kind gifts.

EXAMPLES OF IN-KIND GIVING

  • Raffle basket donations for our fundraising events
  • Diapers, wipes, and other Parents’ Pantry supplies
  • Silent auction items for our fundraising events
  • Event items
  • Books for the children of participants

LEAVE A LEGACY THROUGH GIVING

At Teen Parent Connection, we are always planning for the future of our families and for our agency. Here are some ways that you, too, can help us plan for the future and leave a legacy through your gift to Teen Parent Connection:

BEQUEST

A charitable bequest is one of the simplest ways to give to Teen Parent Connection through your will. Your legacy will live on through support to adolescent families of DuPage County.

RETIREMENT PLANS

You can designate Teen Parent Connection as the remainder beneficiary of your 401k or IRA. This offers you and your family reduced tax benefits and the philanthropic reward of knowing you are empowering a young family to begin their lives.

LIFE INSURANCE

You can give Teen Parent Connection a paid up policy or you can purchase a policy to donate.

ENDOWMENT FUND

Teen Parent Connection’s endowment fund is a unique way to extend your generosity well into the future. Our programs help young people become loving parents, gain independence through education, and enlighten their peers on the consequences of early sexual activity. Whether through a one time, small donation or as a pledge supporter of the Endowment fund, there are many ways you can give. To learn how to invest in our endowment fund, please contact Becky Beilfuss, Executive Director at (630) 812-0116.

The DuPage Community Foundation manages Teen Parent Connection’s Endowment Fund. The Foundation is highly regarded for its dedication to developing and directing philanthropy to meet the needs of DuPage County residents.
