Teen Parent Connection

Because we want to protect the health and safety of the families we serve, Teen Parent Connection has implemented creative and innovative solutions to be able to continue to provide a high level of service to our participants as they navigate the challenges each new day brings.  All of our services have been shifted to virtual formats. Current and/or prospective program participants can visit our program pages for updated information about services.

COVID-19 Pantry Donation Policy

Thank you so much for thinking of Teen Parent Connection during these uncertain times. Please review our donation policy below based on our current needs and storage capabilities.

Due to the current health crisis, we must prioritize the safety of our participants and staff. So we ask that you please don’t bring things to the Pantry directly from storage. We ask that ALL donated clothing is washed and sorted within 72 hours before drop off.

Due to storage capabilities and needs of our young families we ask that any donated clothing (Sizes Newborn – to 5T) is less than 3 years old, should be appropriate for the current season (Spring/Summer), in good shape – without holes and stains. *We do not need maternity clothes at this time.

Per organizational policy, We DO NOT accept stuffed animals, crib bumpers, drop side cribs, dirty strollers, old car seats, dirty toys that are broken or missing parts, etc. We are not accepting used breast pumps.

We appreciate your consideration and understanding of our donation restrictions listed above, as we only want to provide our young families with items in good condition that will last them for a while. When we cannot use donated items, we have no choice but to throw it out – which is an added and unnecessary expense for the organization.

Our most needed items right now are newborn and size 5 diapers, baby wipes, boxes of Mac & Cheese, toddler snacks, cleaning products, bottled water or (new) reusable water bottles, new children’s bowls, spoons and sippy cups, $10 gas cards, grocery store and gas gift cards, and disinfectant wipes.

We have limited staff working in the office at this time, but have placed plastic bins on the porches at the office for convenient drop off. Our RING system lets us know when someone has dropped off a donation, and tax receipts are in the box. There are also forms to fill out if you would like to be added to our mailing list, or you can join via our website. Thank you so much for your support in these difficult times!
